In 2011- 2015 Lunchbox was acquired by WPP Group and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide (and in 2016 renamed “Miriam”).Lunchbox (the agency which pioneered digital shopper engagement) was founded on the belief that something needed to pick up where traditional awareness based advertising left off. A new business model that created real solutions for shoppers, and made retailers and brands the heroes. This model helped transform retail marketing for the worlds largest retailers and forever changing the way brands interacted with their customers. Lunchbox did not create traditional ad campaigns, but robust product based content and technology platforms leveraged by a solid community of subject matter enthusiasts. Seems obvious now, but in the early days of digital marketing there was nothing like this. Lunchbox was not a person, but was shaped by hundreds of brilliant writers, designers, developers, engineers, producers, directors, project managers, editors, marketers, and countless loyal partners to create an entirely new form of marketing.

It grew through the efforts of the original parent company Lunchbox Studios (Now called Lunchbox and part of WPP and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide). Reelhouse grew from a 1-2 product market test started in 2002 to a 100+ product company. Reelhouse’s main product, royalty-free video libraries, were sold and downloaded in 35 countries with global resellers in Australia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, France, United Arab Emirates and The United States.The vision of Reelhouse was to empower the fast growing number of video professionals as well as video enthusiasts with an arsenal of downloadable video FX who were under the constant pressure of deadlines and budgets, and desperately need quality content as quickly as possible.
