Now known as Kaiser Permanente WashingtonExperiences gained through my managed care residency include:•Asthma HEDIS Metric Frontline Work: Developed a program utilizing our frontline pharmacy staff at our owned and operated pharmacies to assess patient’s asthma control and controller medication usage. •Hepatitis C Specialty Medication Program: Assisted in the development of a pharmacist-driven hepatitis C program. Involved in various work streams of the program including informatics, clinical training, marketing, and outcomes reporting. •URAC Accreditation for Specialty and Mail Order Pharmacy: Performed a gap analysis of the URAC standards to assess readiness for application. Worked with key individuals in different areas of the health system to update our documents to reflect URAC standards. •MTMP Outcomes Reporting: Designed and implemented a new strategy for reporting outcomes to CMS. Managed a group of five clinical pharmacists throughout the year to ensure that the reporting was consistent and reflected CMS standards. •P&T: Created monographs throughout duration of the residency including: sublingual allergen therapy, dolutegravir/abacavir/lamivudine, ADHD stimulant review, pembrolizumab, eliglustat, and lisdexamfetamine for binge eating disorder.
