My management style has been shaped by over a decade of experience in software development operating in multiple roles including designer, front end developer, technical lead, and finally as a manager. I strive for establishing a company culture based on efficiency, growth, and trust. I have extensive experience in agile development on teams ranging in size from small(3) to very large (20+). I take pride in my ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders, build and foster a healthy team culture, and deliver quality products on time. My reports trust me to make the tough decisions, to provide an environment that they feel they can get the most out of their career, and to regularly push them towards achieving their fullest potential.I have proven my capabilities as a senior manager over the years in how I leverage my extensive knowledge on the Software Development Lifecycle, how I facilitate open communication, how I guide/shape/define technical projects, how I leverage my extensive experience in the software development landscape to shape and guide careers, and how I flourish when presented with difficult and loosely defined problems.My teams run quickly and efficiently as I have historically averaged 10-15 unique technical projects throughout the year. Some are well defined and some projects are hardly more than general ideas. I guide and shape teams in a way that we can identify each member's strengths and weaknesses so that we can reinforce and leverage what works well and address and develop those skills that need work. This is all a part of the complex puzzle that makes up software development teams and this is where I feel I truly shine.
