I am a research scientist with a passion for molecular biology. Having recently completed a PhD in Molecular Neurobiology from University of Central Lancashire, I am currently working as Bioscience Lead at Medicines Discovery Catapult - Lighthouse Laboratories UK. This role involves working as part of a skilled team to process and test COVID-19 samples to aid national testing. I work to advise and manage viral sample scientists and ensure effective analysis through supportive duties in the facility. I am an experienced Laboratory Demonstrator with skills in laboratory health and safety, equipment training alongside experiment planning, organisation and time-keeping. My academic work has also equipped me to be skilled in communication, academic writing, mathematics, English, and Biology.
