We are extremely proud of our Italian origins, and we produce top quality meat products + smallgoods that are stocked in supermarkets shelves in every state, & food retail outlets.I am responsible for maintaining & growing the existing customer base and seeking out and developing lucrative new local + export markets to grow sales and increase company profitability. I formulate sales strategies + tactics to maintain and increase market share by developing & increasing existing customer accounts and seeking out + securing business in new market channels.Other Duties:• Managing, developing, and monitoring sales volumes, revenue, and expenditures targets, as well as despatch & logistic distribution volumes and expenditure budgets• Working with Business Managers, Account Managers, Sales Reps + Telesales staff in the development of sales service support activities• Collaborating with financial, technical, new product development/marketing teams to finalise product costings, product specifications, tenders, and product submissions to customers• Updating the sales forecast (AS400 & direct communication) weekly through consultation with the Business Managers, Assistance Account Managers, Sales Representatives and Category & Sales Analysts to provide the Planning, Purchasing & Production Departments with sufficient information for finished goods replenishment and the purchasing of raw material, packaging, and dry goods• Managing distribution/logistical activities in collaboration with Despatch Manager/distribution teams to meet business requirements; liaising with Distribution/Logistics & Planning Departments to ensure adequate availability of finished product stocks for distribution to customers• Negotiating contracts with logistic service providers to ensure product storage, picking, distribution and customer service levels are maintained, and costs are controlled and within budget Show less
