Hired to direct a multimillion dollar technology revitalization across entire portfolio. I overseen all aspect of technology including day-to-day operations at all properties. We have recently completed projects that include upgrades to Opera, Delphi, and implementing the IDEAS Revenue Management system for BAR rate implementation. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day IT responsibilities, I was also responsible for an aggressive company-wide repositioning in regards to all technology assets and systems, including virtualization of all of desktop and servers and aggressively moving into the “cloud”.

After recognizing the need for expert hotel technology consulting, founded the firm, dedicated to all aspect of hospitality technology management and technology design. ASE Consulting has assisted customers in navigating through the decision-making processes, provided expert project management services, helped defined vendor products and technical capabilities, asses their financial impact, created capital income and expense budgets, and maximizing the P&L through technology system implementation. Recently I finished the “IP cloud hospitality virtualization model” offering the hospitality industry the first fully IP converged hotel, this paved the way for many new products and services in the hospitality industry. Most recently completed a project where I was the lead technology consultant for a property developer, designing an innovative new off the grid five star luxury extended stay hotel room for placement on private islands in central America off the coast of Belize.

I was part of the executive pre-opening team for the owners, overseeing all aspect of the technology implementation both during pre/post construction and throughout opening. Property highlights include 20 story tower with 445 guest suites, golf cottages and lake villas with boat slips, 70,000 square feet of meeting and event space, 17,500-square-foot spa, 10,000-square-foot fitness center, racquetball courts, tennis center with five tennis courts, 300 slip marina, 10 restaurants and cafes, championship golf course, 18-hole miniature course, 3.5-acre Aqua Park, six swimming and activity pools, Lay-Z River™ Rapids and a rock climbing wall.I led business requirements gathering activities for all systems; used tools such as SharePoint and Lotus Notes for project and requirements documentation; worked closely with lead developers, other business analysts and vendors to provide deliverables; Wrote system specifications and status documentation; Design work flows for the project request and planning/carry-over for application and system enhancements utilizing Visio; facilitate and chair meetings with business units (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Front Desk, Purchasing, Etc.) for requirements review, and validation; reinforcing branding and marketing throughout web development platform.
