At the time the competition was low, with existing demand. To succeed it was enough just to be found. That's how through the simple SEO and PPC I slowly got to know the world of online marketing.After the competition got tougher (well it wasn't that hard for the e-commerce companies selling prescriptive contact lenses to extend their offering with cosmetic ones) I had to enhance up my marketing efforts. I started running acquisition campaigns (BTS, Halloween), influencer marketing (back in 2015 when it was still called outreach), established partnerships (cosplay community) and played around with retention (e-mailing, remarketing campaigns).It was fun while it lasted and that's the main reason the e-commerce is still running even though I am fully occupied with igloonet and it just runs on it's own. Nostalgic reasons are hard to beat.
