While studying I started my own e-commerce company specialized in selling cosmetic contact lenses (coloured and crazy ones). At the time the competition was low, with existing demand. To succeed it was enough just to be found. That's how through the simple SEO and PPC I slowly got to know the world of online marketing.After the competition got tougher (well it wasn't that hard for the e-commerce companies selling prescriptive contact lenses to extend their offering with cosmetic ones) I had to enhance up my marketing efforts. I started running acquisition campaigns (BTS, Halloween), influencer marketing (back in 2015 when it was still called outreach), established partnerships (cosplay community) and played around with retention (e-mailing, remarketing campaigns).It was fun while it lasted and that's the main reason the e-commerce is still running even though I am fully occupied with igloonet and it just runs on it's own. Nostalgic reasons are hard to beat.
