I was recruited to join the Global Business Development team responsible for effectively addressing data management for organizations. I worked within a technical sales and consulting team lead role for the newly developed extension of Carnegie Mellon University.I delivered consulting services centered on CMMI’s Data Management Maturity (DMM) model, a foundational and operational framework to assist organizations by creating an auditable and transparent data environment supporting core operations, BI, risk and fraud analytics, compliance management, and internal audit functions.Specific contributions during my time in this role include:☛ I was a contributing Author of the company’s DMM book discussing process improvement to build data strategies and roadmaps, and I successfully packaged the CMMI DMM model into a series of engagement options to provide a tiered pricing structure addressing different value propositions.

I focused on effectively integrating analytics from an operational perspective through solution building and architecting; I directly managed 2 - 10 technical staff.» I led our team in the creation of data science prototypes focused on analyzing, applying, and managing unstructured data. Eastport Analytics is a consultancy and solution development company with a focus on enabling analysts and decision makers to select and design cutting edge knowledge management, analysis and decision support solutions within the law enforcement, homeland security, and regulatory compliance markets. I served as a strategic growth partner driving new business; I led the team in multiple analytical projects focused on law enforcement, anti-terrorism, financial compliance risk, and tax fraud identification and prioritization. Our techniques included search and link visualizations, document and text mining, and entity extraction and resolution. I brought in an additional 18 staff members to support client accounts.

Catuity (now Loyalty Magic) is a software company in the point-of-sale based customer relationship management industry. Company was first to create and deploy a large scale smart card based, multi-partner, loyalty marketing system in the United States.✏ Created strategic partnerships, deployed nationwide systems, and upgraded software development processes and tools to shorten release cycles and costs.✏ I established a US presence and built the core US operations team, enabling the company to list on NASDAQ to obtain funding.✏ Managed complex development projects as demonstrated through Australia-based team’s release of product every 8 months.✏ I established operational relationship partnerships that provided infrastructure and delivery partners as well as sales support.
