In my role at the NCC Group I tested software that had been deposited under an escrow agreement. This involves spending time analysing various potential issues within these deposits such as checking the source code is readable, scanning for any corrupt or empty files, testing files for potential extraction issues, scanning for viruses and encrypted or password protected files. I have also performed higher level of testing such as Virtual Machine testing which has involved booting and running various operating systems, as well as having to use a lot of bespoke solutions to resolve test issues.In this role I am also part of a first line support team in charge of an Online Web Portal with over 10,000 users. This involves managing user accounts and dealing with regular queries and problems that are faced by customers, providing customer support effectively and in a timely manner. I have also had to perform UAT testing for this web portal using test scripts and scenarios to make sure that they run as expected when updates are released.

Working behind the bar in the executive suites, my responsibilities include:- Stock taking- Serving customers- Dealing with data such as money float and customers bills- Working with cash- Working in a large team
