I have been a business coach with a firm my partner and I started in 2003. We work with businesses who have anywhere from 1 to 25 employees. We work with owners in every industry to help them get a better handle on the business side of their business. In 2016 we began hosting a weekly radio show and podcast called Dirty Secrets of Small Business to share small business success stories and solutions to common challenges faced by owners of small businesses. We help our owners focus on their primary job which can be summed up in 3 words: Plan, Direct, and Control. We do this by helping them focus on the 7 Keys to Success for any organization: i) 10-Year Vision, ii) Profit Plan, iii) Marketing Plan, iv) Organization Plan, v) Leadership, vi) Cash Flow Forecasting, and vii) Presenting.Prior to starting a coaching business, I spent nearly a decade on Wall Street as an investment banker helping companies buy and sell each other, raise money (debt and equity), and put values on the businesses. I worked with companies in dozens of different industries including aerospace & defense, TV production, catalog companies, and racing cars. I worked with companies at every size and stage from dotcom startups to multi-billion dollar transactions that were on the front page of the Wall Street Journal. I grew up in an entrepreneurial environment where my family has owned a business for 40 years.Specialties: General management expertise on how to run a business from day-to-day activities to strategizing. Both my partner and I have strong backgrounds in Leadership, Accounting and Finance, Marketing and Sales, and Business Sales and Acquisitions.
