Serves as an Action Officer (AO) for the COVID-19 Crisis Management Team (CMT), in direct support of current operations regarding public health and safety during 2020 COVID-19 outbreak. In this capacity, I develop timely, relevant, and accurate information for the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff assisting in decision support and in the provision of best military advice to the Secretary of Defense, National Security Council, and the President. Additionally, I monitor and tracks ongoing worldwide operations, producing operations and intelligence-fused products for senior leaders. I provide primary Joint Staff surge capacity for real‐world crisis response, tracking, and senior leader information flow to ensure there is no gap in coverage in the National Military Command Center (NMCC). This is accomplished by synchronizing information sharing and globally integrating with the Military Services, Federal Agencies, and the Joint Staff. I publish daily Status Reports with Department of State, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and Homeland Security in support of current operations. Finally, I respond to questions from Congress, senior leaders, and coordinate with the Military Services in vetting Presidential speeches, assisting senior leaders in preparation for press conferences and congressional testimonies. This role is a member of the COVID-19 Response Working Group. This ensures a seamless and unified effort when carrying out the Chairman's priorities.
