A business development and strategic partnerships professional with leadership experience on both the client and property side of events, sports and entertainment. Currently responsible for sales and business development at the award-winning and globally recognized Vancouver Convention Centre - the world's first LEED Platinum Certified convention centre.Actively involved in Canada's major events, sports and entertainment industries throughout my career, working with the Canadian Premier League and Canada Soccer, Major League Soccer's Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League and the 2005 Grey Cup.Prior to the Grey Cup, worked as Olympic Project Manager for RBC Financial Group where I was responsible for regional management of RBC's sponsorship of Vancouver's bid to host the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games as well as the company's innovative RBC Olympians program, designed to provide valuable work experience for some of Canada's top Olympic athletes.Prior to my role with RBC, I was Manager, Business Development at the Air Canada Championship, Greater Vancouver's stop on the PGA Tour. My role with the ACC included overseeing sponsorship and corporate hospitality as well as PGA Tour player recruitment and agent relations, working to convince the world's best golfers to play in Greater Vancouver.I take an active role in the community whenever possible with previous roles as a member of the Board of Trustees for the BC Sports Hall of Fame as well as Kids-Up-Front.
