Adam Swallow is the Commissioning Editor for business and economics at Oxford University Press. His favourite part of this job is finding out about great research and through the review process - and hopefully publication - being able to deliver this to the right readership.Before joining OUP he worked as a communications consultant with Oxford Policy Management, and for the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) at the University of Oxford. Prior to this Adam was the publications editor at the United Nations University-World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER), in Helsinki, Finland. He has also worked for Routledge (Taylor & Francis) and Cambridge University Press.Throughout these roles Adam has initiated a range of communications strategies and processes through review and revision, and prepared publications in various forms: books and journals, websites, policy briefs, working papers, conference materials, media and public information; coordinating and shaping the dissemination by leading research outlets.He is currently seeking to publish the best quality books (authored or edited) and in various formats including via Open Access options.
