Improving products and environments has been an interest of mine since entering the workforce. I received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a degree in Industrial Technology-Occupational Safety at Iowa State University. Emphasis was placed on electrical technology through elective courses such as digital logic and electrical engineering problem solving. Experience with chemical and medical safety was gained through internships with Medical Oncology and Hematology Associates and McFarland Clinic. At DeeZee I gained experience in the industrial and manufacturing sector. I believe having a broad knowledge of safety at the technical and applicable level accompanied by a business degree is beneficial for connecting various areas of industry into the broader goals of a company.
