I am a self-driven engineer with an appetite for continuous learning. In addition to my corporate work, I enjoy working on side-projects when I can. Successful side projects include:o PeriPedal is a software application I created to improve the indoor cycling training experience. PeriPedal has helped improve the training of thousands of athletes all over the world. The source code for PeriPedal was sold to a 3rd party in 2015.o Started writing Android apps in 2009. Declared by Google to be one of the top Android Market application developers as of March 2010. Developed an app that eventually achieved over 1 million installs. Sold app to 3rd party in 2016.o In 2007, when the Nintendo Wii came out but was nearly impossible to purchase at a store, I created a hardware device to modify an Xbox 360 controller to use the tilt of the controller as input. This gave an Xbox 360 capabilities similar to a Nintendo Wii. The design was sold to a 3rd party for mass production in 2007.

Worked with chip manufacturer to design new ASIC to be used in our new generation of blood glucose meters.Became a subject matter expert on the measurement engine portion of new ASIC.Developed new meter test tool (C# WPF based) originally intended for R&D use only. Tool allowsuser-friendly communication with many of the meter’s functions over USB or BLE connections. Testtool was so well received its use spread beyond R&D to include Research & Technology, Investigative Unit, and the production line. Developed a tool (C# WPF based) for creating a blood glucose sequence definition (combination of voltage excitations, ADC captures, and other ASIC options) in a user-friendly UI and compiling it to a proprietary machine code read and executed by the ASIC. This tool is what is used to create the code that executes the blood glucose test in our new generation of blood glucose meters.
