About Adam Morrison

Well hello! Thanks for stopping by my profile. Feel free to send me a message or add me to your network if we've done business in the past or hope to do so in the future.I pride myself as a Software Solution Architect and IT\Development Manager with 15+ years of experience across a wide variety of software products, strategies and technology. I was an independent software solution architect travelling across the US for a number of years. It was during this time that I moved from the general software developer role into a software solution architect and development manager role. My expertise is in building software solutions that integrate into existing and/or re-engineered business processes and solutions. Having worked in a variety of organizations, industries and environments, I've had to wear many different hats allowing for greater exposure and experience across a variety of software development roles. Over the years, I have developed in a number of programming languages and have become accustom to taking a simplistic approach to software development. Keep it simple, agile and always expect and be ready for the unexpected. Use tools when necessary but don't let them get in the way. And finally, have fun in what you do; those around you will appreciate you for it.Notable Quotes:“Before software can be reusable it first has to be usable.” - Ralph Johnson“There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult.” -C.A.R.
