The club has grown from humble beginnings into one of the giants of British sport having won League Championships, Challenge Cups, The League Leaders Shield, The Super League Grand Final and World Club Championship.Working as the Under 18's Academy Assistant Coach to the most successful British Coach of the Super League era, Shaun Wane, in 2005 the team finished top of the league table in the regular season with thirteen wins from fourteen games and went on to win the Championship Academy Grand Final beating Leeds at Headingley 33-22. Many of the players have gone on to enjoy successful professional playing careers such as Sam Tomkins, Micky McIlorum and Chris Ashton.
