I am a Civil Engineer with over five years of experience working on various engineering projects in both the private and public sectors. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and am currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering. I have received professional training and certifications in Sustainable Procurement management, environmental sustainability, and community development.I have a diverse background which extend to structural design, highway design, construction project management, public procurement, and infrastructure concession matters. My work experience includes reviewing contract deliverables to ensure designs are safe, fit for purpose, and compliant with standard codes and regulations. I also conduct project feasibility studies to identify and mitigate risks, evaluate technical viability, cost, and perform market analysis. Additionally, I possess the ability to institute quality control to ensure projects are safe, durable, and meet specification.Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for smart infrastructure financing. One of the key challenges in Nigeria's infrastructure development is attracting private investment for infrastructure financing, which is further complicated by the declining fiscal capacity, especially at the sub-national level. I believe that securitization of infrastructure assets would be an effective strategy to enhance private funding in public infrastructure. This approach would also allow citizens to actively own, invest for revenue return, reduce the reliance on external debt, and bolster economic growth.I am open to continue learning, collaborating, and exploring innovative solutions in this field.
