The Shortcut is the biggest tech publisher on Substack and has helped retailers make over $50 million in its first six months.

- Created a unique brand identity and visually striking website to stand out in a competitive market- Established strong relationships with local and international clients, working closely with them to provide beautifully-written content that supports their goals- Managed social media accounts to increase engagement and attract new business- Dealt with the day-to-day running of a new business including accounting, invoicing, project management and delivering impeccable customer service at all times.

- Created promotional and editorial content for a variety of digital channels such as Nintendo’s UK website and social media channels- Created direct mail, game trailers, press releases, voiceover scripts and other marketing materials- Penned pristine copy for a wide range of first-party and third-party titles, including ARMS, Metroid: Samus Returns, Hey! Pikmin, Kirby Star Allies, and many more- Planned and executed online campaigns from start to finish, including the creation of dedicated microsites and competitions, along with long-tail campaigns for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram- Advised, edited and proofread local markets’ social media plans and weekly content- Edited and proofread all downloadable eShop games, weekly download news and weekly themes and implemented the website’s homepage teaser selection and layout- Assisted with the creation of marketing materials, including point of service materials, trailers, website takeover ads, and press releases and proofread English language text from external departments - Liaised with translators and helped ensure the English copy was translated into all major European languages for use across Nintendo of Europe’s websites and promotional materials.

At The Presentation Designer, I specialised in helping clients improve their message by making their content and presentations more engaging. I was also responsible for handling the day-to-day client management, ensuring that each project was delivered in a timely fashion and kept to the highest standard.

I created Sumonix (previously Awesome Games), a successful video games website which I managed for a number of years. During this time I built relationships with industry giants such as Microsoft, Nintendo, Konami and Sony, receiving review copies, press passes based on the quality of my work. I also managed a team of writers based in the UK and Canada, and helped drive over 650,000 visitors thanks to the creation of viral content and a relentless work ethic. Furthermore, I ran a number of exciting competitions, collaborating with companies such as GAME, THQ and Insert Coin. I also hosted Tanooki Time, a podcast which was featured in Apple's New and Noteworthy section.

I was headhunted to be the Gadgets Editor of The Book, a quarterly magazine. The Book had been running over one year after launching with the help of The Prince's Trust.
