CurrentI have served as a leader, mentor, and team builder since 2008. I have led diverse teams of various sizes in austere environments in support of US foreign policy initiatives. I continue to lead and learn from my teams as we confront complex challenges, and attempt to find creative solutions.I have previously worked in the following capacities (highlights):- Liaison Officer, US House of Representatives, USMC Office of Legislative Affairs (2020-2021)- Military Legislative Assistant, Defense Fellow - Office of Congressman William "Mac" Thornberry (2019)-Assistant Operations Officer, 1st Tank Battalion, 1st Marine Division (2017-2018) Led all planning and training efforts for the unit of 700+ personnel-Company Commander, Company D, 1st Tank Battalion, 1st Marine Division (2015-2017) Planned and executed a deployment to South Korea for multi-lateral training with South Korean and Australian forces. Led, trained, and mentored a diverse team of 90 Marines and Sailors-Company Commander, Receiving Company, Support Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment, MCRD-San Diego (2012-2015)-Series Commander, Company E, 2d Recruit Training Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment, MCRD-San Diego-Tank Platoon Commander, Battalion landing Team 3/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (2011-2012)Led a small team of 20 Marines and Sailors through a deployment and multiple bilateral training exercises throughout the Indo-Pacific and Middle East.-Platoon Commander, Company A, 1st Tank Battalion (2009-2011)Led, trained, and mentored a platoon of 40 Marines through an aggressive deployment schedule and combat deployment to Marjah, Afghanistan in 2010.
