Teaching customers to drive high performance cars on race tracks around the UK

Remote relationship building and account management for a tech startup company. Designed high-quality, professional processes to deliver a new state-of-the-art software platform, called Advance® Analytics to world-leading pharmaceutical companies. As a result, Advance® Analytics has been nominated for several awards and recognised as the future of pharmaceutical training. Successfully scaled the company from two UK clients to a global company, now with over 20 international clients (including Brazil, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Saudi Arabia & Dubai). Managed the continuous improvement of Advance® Analytics to ensure the delivery process and the customer experience is excellent. Designed and developed onboarding material for clients. Created tutorial videos so they could self-serve and learn in their own time.

• Recruited by Jaguar Land Rover to move to Neuss, Germany on a 3-year assignment to set up a new European department, Front Desk Engineering.• Responsible for all Body Engineering customer complaints for the European market, German high-performance market-specific issues, and high-profile projects, such as delivering the Royal Family’s bespoke vehicles for the G20 Summit 2017.• Directed multiple Technical Assist (TA) often 20-30 projects at a time. Scoping the issues, analysing time, cost, quality, risk, resources and planning with supplier and UK engineering teams.• I was the project leader working with Global JLR teams (China, Russia, NAS & UK) sharing issues found across the world to drive a faster engineering resolution. I chaired the meetings, captured all the actions, resolved any roadblocks, tracked the engineering fixes into the market and gave final sign off.• Investigated German market specific issues such as high speed (Vmax) concerns and controlled bespoke projects such as Jaguar Project 8 inspection & handover. • Prevented vehicle buybacks at a cost of over £8M by pulling cross, functional engineering teams, together, accurately defining root cause using Six Sigma methodology (DMAIC, Ishikawa diagrams 8D, 5Why’s-2How’s, Cause and Effect Analysis / Fishbone, Process Mapping), communicating timings of repairs to customers and controlled the distribution of the solution across the European markets. FMEA documents were updated to prevent repeat failures.• Detected Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) and several other body engineering issues in market. Conducted Six Sigma Black Belt projects to provide highly accurate engineering fixes.

• Directed a team of engineers to deliver the X761 SVO Programme from PS to Job1 +90Quality leadership with prime responsibility to guarantee that the product and process quality at the production location, in both the project phase and during series production, adheres to customer requirements.• Negotiated the project budget and was responsible for over £15M to provide the SVO content for X761. Content includes front & rear bumpers, door cladding, seats, in addition functional trim such as towing and roof rails.• Responsible for driving down costs from suppliers and saved £1.8M on Rosti door claddings by aligning tooling with cross functional Core Engineering. • Achieved 100% Release throughput at FDJ+4 gateway, the first SVO vehicle to achieve this target. In addition, accomplished 100% geometry inspection.• Managed the X761 PST meetings, organised the agenda and issued minutes using a range of project management tools (Microsoft (MS) Project, Gantt Charts, MS Access, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel). Ensured information was communicated to engineers to resolve issues.• SVO representative at Executive Process Chain, Launch Management Meetings (LMM) and New Model Launch Reviews (NMLR). Delivered enhanced engineering processes and design improvements supporting Right First Time (RFT).• Identified Bill of Material (BOM) errors, raised Add and Delete documents to update the BOM to correct delivery of parts, such as R Sport Steering Wheels and Core.• Lead methods for robust manufacturing and logistics of products through all manufacturing build phases (M1, M2, VP, HTFB, TT, PP, MP1, MP2, Job1 +90). • Chaired the Quality Audit Process and PCPA i.e. Clarification, Scope, Objectives, Schedule through to the preparation of audit working papers, checklists and the final collation of evidence for complete traceability.

• Specialist Variability Reduction Team (VRT) leader responsible for managing complex body structure quality commodities across new model programmes Range Rover (L405) and Range Rover Sport (L494).• Analysed all design changes between design phases to structural components using CAD systems (CATIA, Digibuck, Team-Centre Visualization Mock-up). Completed visual inspections on part deliveries to verify parts were green to build.• Implement continuous improvement over evolving build phases.Co-ordinated the logistics of sheet metal panel reworks and Press Shop stamping operations with suppliers.• Maintain compliance to current worldwide PPAP and PSW legislations through negotiation with ‘STA’ (Supplier Technical Assistance) authority.• Illustrate to stakeholders the multiple build phases and entire product lifecycle that are required to develop the vehicle from its prototype introduction through to a qualified and saleable vehicle that has complete legal compliance.• CAD Engineer on the front-end body structure on Jaguar XE, XF and F-Pace. Designed the vehicle architecture using CATIA and Team-Centre, carried out feasibility studies using Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Finite Element Analysis (FAE) tools.

• Manufacturing, integration and launch engineering feasibility to ensure production capacity Containment of production engineering and quality concerns accompanied by relentless root cause analysis using PPS (Practical Problem Solving) methodology.• Manage new product launches into and across JLR Production facilities ensuring minimal impact to existing product output.• Actively work with tools like AIMS, ECR and CMM system.• Raise Facility Change Requests and Line Trail Documents to control all modified vehicles and managed them through Paint Operations, Trim and Final, End of Line (EOL) and Vehicle Sign Off.• Responsible for reprogramming various robots and monitoring their subsequent performance. Carried out vehicle measurements in metrology labs, read and analysed the CMM data output using Gradient Software & SPC tools to steer future reprogramming requirements when required.• Undertook FPA Range Rover Audits and presented all findings to management using Microsoft Office Tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word) • Application of ‘WERS’ (Worldwide Engineering Release System) tools to complete BOM alignment for vehicle build phase requirements.

I worked in several areas of the business tasked with various projects to gain a good understanding of each department. While working in Paint Operations Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) I delivered a project which reduce paint overfill waste in the automated spray machines. I carried out an in depth study to identify the best solution for the business and as a result I saved the business £1.7 Million with additional savings annually.
