Taught two courses, iOS Development and Supercomputing.The iOS course was an introduction to mobile programming, Objective-C, memory management, computer graphics, and building solid software engineering fundamentals. The projects for this class included a daily planner application, 2D games using SpriteKit, and inter-device communication. We used Xcode, explored integrating with social networks, and gained experience in open source through github. Supercomputing was a programming competition based course in which the students learned to develop for concurrency. The course started with shared memory multiprocessing using OpenMP, then moved on to distributed programs running on multiple clustered linux machines communicating with MPI (Message Passing Interface).
