Klenzoid/DuBois Chemicals is a specialty chemical supplier that offers premium products and accompanying services across North America. A focus on data-driven analytics as well as hands on approach to managing customer needs leads to excellent technical results while optimizing costs and consumables plant-wide.As an Account Manager for Klenzoid/DuBois Chemicals I was responsible for maintaining a customer base with various water and waste water applications across the healthcare, industrial, and food and beverage markets. As the primary touch point between the customer and their water treatment systems I worked to optimize water, chemical and energy usage not only in the immediately applicable process but also to achieve the Least Cost Operating Scenario for the entirety of the customer’s operation.I acted in a Project Management role with both new and existing customers, implementing equipment and processes to their facilities. Liaising between the contractor and the end user, I ensured proper and timely design, building, installation and commissioning of pre-treatment equipment and controls.My role encompassed new account acquisition through a number of sources. Through the startup of water treatment equipment and programs at new construction sites I was able to leverage my existing account management and commissioning skills into opportunities to retain the business moving forward. I also managed an active sales funnel, applying skills learned through the DuBois Professional Selling Program, successfully moving prospects through to new end users.

In the Technical Representative role I was responsible for servicing and maintaining water treatment programs for steam boilers, open evaporative cooling systems, and closed loop heating and cooling systems at a number of customers across a variety of industries. As part of the water treatment program I was also involved in installing, commissioning and maintaining pre-treatment equipment such as water softeners, dealkalizers, chemical feed pumps and controllers.
