Consulting, design, fabrication, installation services

My role has me consulting with artists, architects, engineers, general contractors and developers to help turn bright ideas into amazing creations. I work closely with our talented designers, PMs and multi faceted production staff to take these creations from concept to installation.

Manage design, fabrication and maintenance of all interactive exhibits. I just started and will update details in the future.

I started as the production manager overseeing and managing the fabrication and installation of large scale public art pieces, architectural components, themed environments, and institutional furniture. Design and build sets and props for several puppet television shows.

Production design, art direction and fabrication of sets and props for film and television including stop motion, puppet and live action productions.

I have worked on several productions including, X-Men, Bait, Driven, Nero Wolfe, Skulls 2, Doc, Martin and Lewis, Suck, Focus, etc.

I have had the pleasure of working with Hall Train Studio's on a number of large prehistoric forest build and installations in Alberta and Germany.

Miniature set and prop fabrication for several stop motion animation productions

I have worked for Headgear sporadically as a rig, prop and set builder for stop motion animation commercials. They are great people to work with and always seem to land interesting projects.

I managed a crew of roughly 10 miniature set builders and painters for the CBC series "What it's like being alone".I also was responsible for designing and building custom camera mounts for shooting within the miniature sets as well as a custom tracking system to allow for incremental crane shots

Design, fabrication and installation of large scale water features for corporate and residential spaces. Required skills include carpentry, TIG welding, metal working and forming, sculpting and onsite installation.

Custom metal fabrication.Operation of mill, lathe, press brake, shear, iron worker, etc. to produce components for museum and architectural fixtures.

I worked with FEFA as a designer/fabricator, and eventually as a project manager for themed displays and prototypes. Required skills are MIG welding, metal working and forming, machining sculpting and painting.
