Directs all of the financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, accounting policies and procedures, internal controls, relationships with lending institutions, information technology, employee benefit plans and property management of the employee owned organization. (ESOP)

Accountabilities include setting direction and coordinating all financial activities for 5 separate businesses operating in 39 states and D.C., generating $725M+ in revenue. The business includes over 1,000 therapy contracts (Aegis), 63 hospice agencies (AseraCare), 17 home health agencies (AseraCare), a healthcare staffing company (360 Healthcare Staffing), and a group purchasing organization (CERES). Management responsibility for 4 direct reports and 30 indirect reports, reporting directly to the CEO.Partnered with Operations to establish financial goals and recommend actions to achieve and maintain targets relative to annual operating and capital budgets, ongoing financial projections, regional accounts receivable and collection standards.

Accountable for coordination of division and district financial activities, implementation of consistent policies and procedures, Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement optimization, and ensuring compliance. Supported Division President and 15+ Directors of Operations responsible for 200+ Skilled Nursing Facilities and 10+ Assisted Living Facilities, owned and leased in 9 states, generating $500M+ in revenue.

Led the overall operations of multi-business units consisting of 12 Skilled Nursing Facilities and 1 Assisted Living Center, generating $75M in revenue. Overall accountability for direction and business results of facilities, including financial growth, clinical outcomes, employee relations and development, customer service and relations with state regulatory, licensure and compliance officials.

Led and directed overall facility operations and 100 employees in accordance with customer needs, government regulations and company policies, with a focus on excellent care for the residents/patients while achieving business objectives. Facility generated $6M+ in revenue.
