I stumbled my way into management, in fact if you would have asked me 15 years ago if I wanted to go into management I would have most likely said no. I found that I absolute love it! I work with some of the best programmers, and with my experiences of being a programmer and running a few companies I feel it positions me well.Don't get me wrong, I still love code, in fact i'm always working on something in Unity3D, Angular, C#, Java, C++, Data Science or Android apps.Today I manage a fantastic group of Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists and couldn't be happier! nCino is a fantastic company.Currently i'm focused a lot on the Analytics side of things, working with AWS, Data Platform, Data Engineering, Data Science, and everything around using Data to enable product value, but I also have my hands in aspects of Platform Engineering, and product development.
