I'm the CEO of Forbes Books, the book publishing brand of Forbes Media, publisher of Forbes Magazine. What began in the spare bedroom of my home is now one of the largest independent business book publishers in the world with 2,000+ authors in 44 US states and 14 countries. I founded Advantage Media in 2005. We publish books under our namesake Advantage Books and provide public relations, podcast, digital media, and serialized content services to CEOs, entrepreneurs, and leaders. In 2016, Advantage and Forbes joined forces to create Forbes Books.I have authored 6 books including "Authority Marketing," "Lead The Field," and "Book The Business: How to Make Big Money With Your Book Without Even Selling a Single Copy." My most recent book, "Relentless Implementation" is co-authored with Alan Mulally, retired CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Ford Motor Company. I speak frequently around the world on authority media and book writing/publishing. I have been featured in Investors Business Daily, The Wall Street Journal, and on ABC and Fox.My company has been named to the Inc. 500/5000 list and the Best Places to Work in South Carolina list multiple times. In 2011 I was named to the Inc. Magazine "30 Under 30" list of America's coolest young entrepreneurs. I was honored to be named Charleston's Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019 by the Harbor Entrepreneur Center.I am an Eagle Scout and member of YPO and EO. I am the past Board Chair of my alma mater Clemson University's Spiro Entrepreneurship Institute. I have my commercial pilot certificate with instrument and seaplane ratings.
