Placed second in a competition to predict camera calibration matricies from single images. Developed a novel group-equivariant convolutional layer to exploit inherent symmetries, as well as a new loss regularization method that forces orthogonality to aid the prediction of 3D rotational poses.

Conducted reef ecology research. Accepted for two poster presentations and published several papers. More specifically:- Helped secure a $15,000HKD (~$2000USD) grant from the Hong Kong government and delivered a 72 page report on the ecology and diversity of sea slugs in Hong Kong. Eventually published in Zoological Studies (Fifth author, IF: ~2.1).
