As a European Head Guide the job involved delivering high end cycling trips, tours and rides in 7 countries to demanding clientele. The job involved trip planning, operations, logistics, mechanical knowledge, long distance driving, route planning, language skills as well as a variety of other attributes as and when the moment called.

As an Advanced Cycling Analyst I spent 5 years assessing cyclists and triathletes and helping them to achieve their goals through positional analysis and adjustment well as designing and building custom endurance, race and time trial bikes for a wide range of riders from amateur to professional.

Part responsible for the setup and management of the recreation, gym & athlete service facilities of the rowing & canoe sprint athletes village based in Egham, Surrey for 1,300 athletes and team officials. During the games I was involved in the management of this facility and some of the 200 volunteers on site. The role involved working closely with athletes, contractors, stakeholders and the National Olympic Committees of 70 countries.

Planned, found funding of £100,000, joint project managed and rowed unsupported 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean as part of a team of 4 raising over £300,000 for Spinal Research and breaking 3 world records in the process.

Planned, financed, project managed and pedalled unsupported on a 9000 mile bike ride in 7 months raising over £22,000 for Malaria Consortium. Following this presented thoughts on malaria control to the Select Committee for International Development at the House of Commons (Oct 2010).
