• Fern Health (now part of Realized Care) is a combination digital and coaching platform for the biopsychosocial management of chronic pain. • First data hire – responsible for setting up a modern data stack (Fivetran for data ingestion, dbt for data transformation, Snowflake as the data warehouse, and Tableau for recurring analytics) and hiring other members of the team (Data Engineer and Product Manager). • Modeled and instituted a normalized, relational Snowflake schema to store data from disparate sources: backend of application, Salesforce coaching platform, call data, etc. • Built Tableau dashboards demonstrating user engagement, progress, and improvement through the Fern program to serve as recurring monthly and quarterly reporting. • Planned a multi-dimensional study using health claims, biometrics, performance, and attendance data to demonstrate the value of the Fern chronic pain management program. • Responsible for any ad-hoc questions and analytics regarding Fern’s data.

• Amino is a health technology company that develops software to direct end users to in-network, low cost, and high-quality healthcare providers.• Used dbt to produce two fundamental data pipelines: one demonstrating the difference in cost between Amino Smart Match (in network, low cost, high quality) and non-Smart Match providers by geography and a second showing the difference in quality.• Wrote Python scripts to execute recurring analytics and visualizations based upon the above pipelines. These analytics became a fundamental part of our pitch deck to prospective clients.• Completely revamped the recurring presentation used by the Customer Success team to demonstrate the value that current customers were experiencing from their employee’s use of Amino. Major changes were the way savings were attributed to Amino and the surfacing of the health benefits/savings derived from seeing Amino Smart Match providers.• Ad-hoc work including: testing and quality control on new data (e.g. results of a predictive model for procedure specific costs, updated facility data, etc.), writing Python scripts to e.g. use pattern matching to determine if a prospective client’s hundreds of networks were in our database, automating repetitive tasks, and responding to ad-hoc queries from the Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams. I was the point person for any queries about our data from the non-technical team members.
