Utah Behavior Services gave me the opportunity to get my first taste of HR experience. As the only HR rep, I was able to apply much of my graduate learning and awareness of industry resources to build a sustainable human resources function for this great company. In addition to the HR basics of recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and all the related admin tasks, I've been able to lead our employee learning and development programs via learning management systems, helped implement new cloud-based solutions for our HR and business operations needs, helped write, adopt, and adapt policies, train staff to assist in HR duties, serve as an advisor to company directors, and oversee our company health insurance plans.
