As the HR Manager for Integrated Human Capital, I coordinate processes that help the human resources department maximize the potential of its workforce through strategic planning, talent management, leadership development, organizational design, and performance management. As Project Manager I oversaw the planning and delivery of demolition projects. I would ensure that the work is completed on time and within budget. The job also consisted of overseeing all contractor accounts and networking to find opportunities for new business.

As the HR Manager for Sysco, I work to execute key processes in performance management, talent management, total rewards, compensation, and training and development. This is done by coaching people managers and executives on leading an effective team and driving a culture of engagement. My goal is to have each associate feel that they come first within our organization. To achieve this goal I have implemented an employee rewards and recognition program and an employee referral program. I have also organized Town Halls so our associates have an opportunity to received corporate information and openly engage in conversations with our leaders. As Sysco works to standardize the business functions, it is my job to ensure changes do not disrupt the business but are successfully implemented. I closely watch key KPIs and work with leaders to identify trends or to diagnose issues. When necessary I lead employee relation investigations and address employee performance issues.

As the Human Resources Leader, I worked strategically with executives and and management to ensure the organization reached its goals and objectives. This was done by providing managers and associates with the proper tools and training needed to be efficient and effective. I served as the liaison between our organization and Toyota. I frequently participated in collaborative meetings between Toyota and other onsite suppliers to discuss employee engagement best practices and to improve the work experiences our associates had when interacting with other suppliers. In my time in the position I integrated a new Human Resources Information System. The new systems enhanced the ability to capture key KPI data and improved the overall efficiency of the department. This integration brought an annual cost savings of $18,000. The new system allowed us to streamline and enhance the on-boarding experience.

With a network of over 50 company-owned and operated pallet distribution centers and a transportation fleet of over 5,700 units, we are the largest pallet services company in the country. At CHEP, they focus on the retrieval, reconditioning, and resupplying of wood pallets. They offer a complete range of pallet recycling and pallet management services. Their broad infrastructure, expertise and flexibility allow us to provide customized, single-source solutions to both our national and local customers.As an HR Field Operations Manager I served as a consultant to 23 facilities and 1200+ employees on all human resources related issues. Each week I provided resources and built relationships with my clients within the organization by focusing on the missions and objectives set forth by the company. My time at the facilities was spent assisting management with employee engagement, safety related concerns, overall communication, training, ongoing education, and general business operations. This helped bridge the gap between employees and management. I also provided guidance and direction to managers on legal and compliance issues, including EEOC claims, Worker’s Compensation, OSHA violations, FMLA, and ADA. This position required a travel time of 50%. The following are key achievements during my tenure:• Project member of group assigned to updating and merging the employee handbook after the aquisition• Played a key role in the on-boarding of 65 new facilities and ensured proper operational structure along with the implementation of programs in the areas of training, compensation, benefits, and new employee orientation • From 2011 to February 2013 was assigned to region that included 85 onsite locations and over 750 employees located inside customer distribution centers

In the roll of Assistant Plant Manager/Sales Representative I worked to develop a balanced approach to maximize best operational practices and cost efficiencies across the Plant while maintaining critical quality and raw material utilization standards that were necessary to maintain customer satisfaction and Plant profitability. Time was also spent mentoring and coaching over 70 employees to establish production and shipping schedules based on the availability of raw and finished goods.With safe and efficient procedures in place I was able to focus on managing the relationships of all existing accounts which totaled $7 million dollars in revenue. I also drove the development of new customers through daily cold calls and visits, and maintained all sales data in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The following achievements were reached from 2009 – 2011:•Retained 75% of business during the close of the Austin facility in 2008. •Received 2009 Revenue Buster and 2009 EBITDA Buster award for exceeding review budget by 9.7%.•Increased the amount of core materials by 24% from 2010 to 2011.•Achieved an increase in revenue budget by 12% from Q3 to Q4 to finish 2010 at 101%.•Received 2011 Year over Year Growth Award for having a growth of 10.2%.•Earned 2011 Top 5 EBITDA Margin Award and 2011 EBITDA Budget Buster Award for exceeding budget by 11%.

Frontera Produce is a grower of fresh produce from farms in Texas, Colorado, Mexico and South America. Products include but not limited to melons, pineapples, peppers, cabbage, avocados, papayas, coconuts, limes, and mango. Frontera Produce is committed to being a conscientious company, grower, and neighbor and takes pride in being based on the state of Texas.As the Business Development and Project Manager I worked on implementing new technologies within the produce business to streamline the system process of product flow and ensure safe and fresh product reached the customer. I was also given the task of solely managing the initial $10 million dollar Guatemalan cantaloupe import program at the Port of Corpus Christi in 2006. During my tenure I also helped organize the representation of Frontera Produce at The Produce Marking Association trade show each year.
