ILM brought me on to produce a special project for their xLAB division. This was the first creative collaboration between ILMxLAB and Magic Leap, the groundbreaking innovator of mixed reality technology. I worked closely with EP Wayne Billheimer, VFX guru John Gaeta and VFX supervisor Ben Snow to shepherd this project from creative development through final delivery. Most notably I worked on a series of Verizon commercials shot on location in New Zealand with the Director Brendan Malloy. It was a great shoot, the highlights of which were; staging a civil war re-enactment, extensive aerial photography utilizing an Epic equipped octo-copter, and some daring paragliding off the cliffs of Maori Bay.I've had the pleasure of working with Directors Samuel Bayer, Hype Williams, and Joe Public, amongst others.
