Facilitation of business and management/leadership courses for the Continuing Education/Workforce Development unit

Responsible for the planning and implementation of all training programs in accordance with MECU's strategic vision to ensure alignment between the ongoing development of all employees and strategic priorities.Duties include:• Conducting learning needs assessment• Developing competency models• Providing oversight and quality control for all learning programs and events• Determining appropriate learning solutions to support organizational strategy and business initiatives• Developing and implementing a Management Development Program• Conducting succession planning activities• Building and maintaining vendor relationships• Classroom facilitation for leadership development and staff training sessions• Providing career pathing and counseling• Providing oversight for Tuition Assistance/Reimbursement program• Budget management

Internal consultant for six divisions. Serve as partner in identifying, implementing, and evaluating learning and performance improvement solutions. Lead training and development efforts in service of 500+ employees.  Collaborate with divisional leadership to create valuable solutions that address challenges impacting business outcomes. Project leader for numerous successful organizational development initiatives, specifically in regards to leadership development, systems conversions, and change management.  Establish and maintain value-added relationships with vendors to provide performance support options outside of SECU's selection of in-house programs. Develop and implement high-quality in-house classroom and e-learning solutions.

Responsible for the sales, service and technical training for branch personnel throughout the Baltimore and Washington metropolitan areas. Managed 15 – 20 Certified Branch Trainers and the In-Branch Training Program for Maryland, D.C., and Northern Virginia.• Developed and maintained course content and materials (including manuals, job aids, etc.).• Evaluated the effectiveness of training programs by means of course assessments and client feedback.• Project Manager for the creation of supplemental training site.

Conduct full cycle recruitment and retention process from creative candidate sourcing to assignment of training courses for career development. • Source high-quality candidated by attending job fairs and other community-based networking functions across the footprint of the bank. • Utilize the PeopleSoftTM software application to maintain a database of job applicants and process new hires, promotions, transfers, etc. • Create and maintain job descriptions and conduct salary surveys for various branch positions. • Facilitate HR-related training programs (Interviewing Skills, Diversity Training, segments of New Hire Orientation).

Develop and maintain relationships with customers by providing a wide array of financial products and services. • Provide efficient and effective customer service through the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and the uncovering of potential sales opportunities. • Supervise and conduct performance reviews for a staff of 6 bank tellers.
