I have always been passionate about Marketing and discovering the drivers behind why people buy. Over the past 10 years, my career has spanned Agriculture, Finance, Energy, and Consumer Research. For the past 2 years, I've delved into Agricultural Marketing as a Campaign Lead. My role focuses on working with clients to create messaging that inspires their audience to take action. Working closely with clients to achieve their goals has shown me the importance of balancing one's expertise and fostering clear lines of communication. Profitable relationships are underpinned by a willingness to gain a deep understanding of your clients and show them appreciation.Previously in 5 years of Consumer Research and Brand Strategy, I have spearheaded over 50 Consumer Research projects in a variety of industries, namely Finance/Banking, Telecommunications, Energy, and FMCG. My progression from Consumer Insights Analyst to Brand Strategist stemmed from creating and communicating recommendations based on research findings. This role also offered frequent partnerships with Advertising and Creative agencies. It allowed me to bridge the gap between research and creative execution which is one of my strengths as a strategist.Since 2020 I have expanded my experience in Digital Branding and Marketing. My practical knowledge of Inbound Lead Generation has been bolstered by creating content for service-based businesses and incorporating Search Engine Optimization into messaging strategy. Perhaps the biggest lesson I have learned is the importance of balancing empathy while still giving a truthful picture of one’s position in the market.While Branding and Marketing take up a lot of my bandwidth, I enjoy walks, soca music, and documentaries on Netflix.
