CAREER PROFILE: More than 20 years of experience composed of having worked for Fortune 500 Chemical Industries, IGO and medium-sized companies. Major accomplishments was the design and implementation of an HCl absorption system unit for Dow Chemical in Germany. Being the Area Plant Manager for the Du Pont Titanium Plant in Antioch, California and have developed a process to use tons of solid waste from the Titanium extraction process as material for road base for the East Contra Costa County in California. Being responsible for Lycra´s Strategic Planning – a US$ 160 MM/yr business. Implementing UNCTAD´s Entrepreneurship Capacity Building Training Program in several countries (Brazil, British Guyana, Jordan, Romania). CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: I have been the O.D. in several Consultancy projects (Panama Ports Company, VALE S.A. Carajas iron ore Mine, CBMM world's leading supplier of niobium, TERPHANE, VIA VAREJO among others). Due to being fluent in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese, and having had years of experience working abroad, I have a knack for dealing across different cultures.
