Working in the risk analytics team of a renowned credit card issuing bank leveraging the usage of SQL, R & MS-Excel for analyzing various metrics regarding day to day operations which would help to make the portfolio less risky.Carried out risk analysis that would help the bank to save huge loan amounts attached to a credit card at risk of going NPA. Studied and understood the new strategy for authorizing delinquent and over-limit transactions. Carried out User acceptance testing by coding all the scenarios for delinquent and over-limit transactions on R and monitored the same after go-live. The new strategy helped the bank to make transactions stricter for high risk and new customers and accomodating for low-risk and old customers.
