I planned tours across the U.S. for emerging South Asian artists, coordinating with venues and colleges including UCLA, USC, and NYU to organize concerts. During this role, I gained valuable insights into finance and explored various music programs offered by colleges and performance venues.Additionally, I gained experience in the consulting field, maintaining and updating websites while discovering a keen interest in coding and computer science. I also had the opportunity to attend one of our planned concerts in NYC, which provided me with practical insights and skills.

I was a project intern at UnitedHealth Group, where I worked closely with my manager and a team of six. Our main project involved proposing a business opportunity to expand their customer base. Throughout the internship, I participated in various Zoom meetings and learned skills from speakers on topics such as finance, computer science, business, and medical issues.The specific project I focused on aimed to expand physical fitness awareness and promote health in low-income communities. We launched our initiative in a small town in Austin, Texas, where we brainstormed ideas to introduce fitness to these communities. With the support of a nonprofit organization and a local software development company, my team and I developed FITWATCH. This device incentivized community members to engage in physical activity and introduced them to the world of fitness. I managed project costs and contributed to the business proposal.At the conclusion of the internship, my team, manager, and I presented our proposal and plan to a panel of senior VPs at UHG. It was a valuable experience that allowed me to learn and grow both personally and professionally. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of physical and mental fitness education in underfunded communities.

As a part of Phoenix Jewel of the East Lions Club, I helped provide ideas for events and also participated to help my community with there needs. These range from small projects with a small group of people, to large projects where multiple community members need to come together. We are constantly helping out organizations as we have donated over 400 breakfast bags to Andre House, raised money for the Welcome to America project, made over 200 face shields and cards for Valley Wise Health Care, and we have made entertaining videos for children in orphanages in Mysore, India.

The Work-Based Learning team is seeking interns interested in tapping into their creativity to assist with the launch of a new approach to help students become more prepared for college and careers. As an intern I will develop activities and resources (short videos, images, documents, or other formats) aimed at helping students learn about the three goals for their NAF academy experience and sharing their insights with teachers about how to connect with students. Along with this I will network with various business leaders and teachers in our community. I support the Work-Based Learning team during the various learning sessions and in the Innovation Studio. Additionally during NAF Next, I will work directly with the Conference Planning Team: OSI, LAI Live Events, Geeks & Gurus, as assigned. As an intern I will impact participant experience with onsite support, answering questions, and sharingmy academy story

As the director of community service for MRHS FBLA I worked with my other officers in order to ensure a smooth running chapter with over 60 members. Creating slideshows and different presentations for our club meetings that occur bi-weekly increased my confidence. With my role I helped initiate a community service fundraiser event for our chapter and apart from that allowed for fbla members to find their own leadership skills.
