I have been working in research and academic, computer science and information technology for more than thirteen years. Presently, I am working as Associate Professor in Department of Systemics, School of Computer Science, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. I worked as Postdoctoral Researcher (Cybersecurity) in Software Research Institute (SRI) at Athlone Institute of Technology, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. I am actively involved in European Union H2020 funded multi-million euro research project to develop new methods to detect and combat cybersecurity attacks. This project involves ten partners from eight European countries including universities such as the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany), the University of Oxford (UK), Polish Academy of Sciences etc. Previously, I worked as assistant professor at the computer science and information technology department of Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology, Noida, India.
