Sonio is an AI powered software that guides practitioners during prenatal ultrasound scans. - Designed and built the first version of Sonio Edge Software - a software that runs on site to receive and upload DICOM instances to Sonio Cloud in real time. Later, worked on features like authentication, config management, auto update and optimized upload speeds for slow internet connections. (Go)- Built the first version of Sonio Core platform - worked on architecture, DB design, implemented APIs and the DICOM ingestion system. (Elixir / Phoenix, PostgreSQL, AWS)- Built the backend for the first version of Sonio Pro - integrated medical concepts and their relationships, built a fine-grained access control system, added support for DICOM videos and ability to share examinations. - Built Sonio Diagnostics v2 - implemented a simplified architecture that relies on SQL queries, thus simplifying the app, making it more robust and easier to maintain than v1. Made modifications to the medical algorithms used and added support for many new medical concepts. (Python / Flask, PostgreSQL)
