In 2019, Adarsh founded Postmoda (f/k/a Wardrobe), a fast-growing sustainable fashion marketplace. Its investors include the founders of some of the world’s most storied companies: Airbnb, Opendoor, Casper, Coinbase and HQ Trivia, and early investors of Farfetch, Rebag, Uber and SpaceX, among others. In 2024, Postmoda was selected on the list of Fast Company 2024 World Changing Ideas, along with Estée Lauder and Coach. Prior to that, Adarsh founded ProjectArt, currently the nation's largest art school for youth, without owning a single building. The non-profit leverages local public libraries to scale its services across the US.He is a Gucci Changemaker, CNN Hero, among 50 Biggest Philanthropists in the World (Town and Country) along with Bill Gates, Tim Cook and George Lucas, a 40 Under 40 in Global Art Business (Apollo) and AmEx Emerging Innovator. He was expelled from elementary school for drawing in class, but by the time he was 15, he was a celebrated artist, painting portraits for, among others - Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela and His Holiness The Pope John Paul II. His educational/ research background comprises of economics fellowship at Columbia University as a Community Scholar, MS in Art Administration from Boston University and a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
