The mantra at Spartan Technologies has been to Architect the Business Solutions. The team and I did a lot of that for multiple pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. We worked on business needs and created solutions that were well received by our clients. We integrated data sets for In-Market Sales, Payer/Plan and PBMs, Time and Expense, Subshine act, CMS and many other business aspects to create unified solutions that catered to needs of the whole organization. I have managed these engagements for last few years, while still stayed engaged in data architecture, project management, solution architecture and many other roles. One of the highlight as my career at Spartan is the implementation of major solution that involved catering to the reporting and analytics needs for 22 countries that UCB pharma did business in. The solution needs was to integrate and report the data from In-Market Sales, Internal Sales, Supply Chain, Territory Management and CRM data sets.The solution was successfully implemented and well received by the business.

Implemented BIDW for UCB Pharma, a multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical company, to form an analytic knowledge repository that has goals to find components for the projected sales revenue for products. Using legacy data from external vendors and other source systems, the BIDW delivered analytics for Revenue, Products, Markets, Competitors etc. The BIDW worked to provide Cause and Effect Analysis and helped end-users make several strategic and tactical decisions to better market the products. The project was implemented using Oracle, Informatica, and Business Objects on Windows 2000 and HP-UX Unix servers.•Implemented Data Warehouse for Ortho Biotech, A Johnson & Johnson bio-pharmaceutical company, to create an analytic dashboard and operational reporting system to report the projected sales revenue for products. Created and implemented a complete offshore implementation delivery model to develop and deploy the data warehouse. Using data from various external vendors and other internal source systems, the data warehouse delivered analytics for Revenue, Products, Markets, and Competitors etc.. The project was implemented using Oracle, Informatica, and Cognos on Windows 2000 and HP-UX Unix servers.•Provided architecture recommendations, identified performance issues, designed and implemented changes to an existing data warehouse at Burger King. This data warehouse kept track of data loads and data retention for all the franchises of Burger King. Data retention was a major requirement, which had caused performance issues. The process was designed to archive data based on variable retention periods. Participated in the management and ensured the quality of work for a team of 6-8 consultants.

At Adjoined Consulting I started doing lots of all round DW architecture work. I worked on various projects which involved: - setting up a new enterprise data warehouse- tuning development/delivery methodologies and setup best practices- creating data retention stratgies- audit data loads etc.All the engagements were completely focused on building better solutions for BI. Most of the clients were multi-billion dollar companies like Johnson and Johnson (Ortho Biotech), Burger King, Lexmark, Novartis, NationsRent, UCB Pharmacuticals, Vulcan materials etc. The toolsets used are leaders in the industry including Informatica, Oracle, Business Objects and Cognos.

Managed consulting engagements and build an EDW starting from architecture to definition, analysis, design, development, and production support for the $25 billion dollars division of GE (General Electric). Using multiple legacies, ERP, CRM as data sources with Oracle and EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) channels as targets, finalized the project model, architect solution and managed the scope of each data mart as part of the EDW. Implemented Dimensional Data Models for each data mart and Global Dimensions. Designed solution models for Oracle Parts (Mfg), Inventory, Oracle HR, Orders and Sales, Employee HS, and Finance. Successfully established and managed the onsite/offshore model using GDC services for Production support and development processes by setting up the best practices and guidelines, standards and conventions, Quality Control checks.
