With a diverse background in education, working in different geographies(rural/urban), leadership(Government/Private), and scale(School/State Level), I bring extensive experience and a deep commitment to transforming the process of learning for the modern world. My journey began with Teach For India, where I honed my skills as a teacher and later as an Academic Coordinator, designing teaching learning material, facilitating training sessions, and implementing school wide innovative structures to promote student advocacy and life skills.Transitioning to Barefoot College International(BCI), I took on the role of School Transformational Lead, managing a rural day school with over 330 students and 29 staff members. Here, I oversaw curriculum implementation, conducted professional development for teachers, and spearheaded digital learning initiatives to ensure student engagement during the pandemic. Additionally, I played a key role in training grassroots-level teachers with limited digital exposure, resulting in the creation of thousands of educational resources and 2 books published based on gender sensitivity.Post my stint at BCI(Now Bindi international),I worked as a Senior Consultant in the RTE Division, at the Delhi Commission For Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR), I was fortunate to get a macro perspective, working in the government, getting an opportunity to lead multiple projects aimed at creating awareness and advocating for the rights of children. Notably, I managed a project to raise awareness of vaccination and immunization among pregnant and lactating women, reaching thousands through outbound calls and workshops. Additionally, I designed and facilitated workshops for stakeholders from over 100 schools, focusing on sensitizing them to handle sensitive grievances related to child protection laws.Currently, I am the Programme Director, at Sashaktikaran Foundation, leading Project Neev, that is focused on developing Foundational Literacy and Numeracy skills among children from vulnerable communities by enabling self learning of these children on digital tablets through learning spaces facilitated by women recruited from the same communities that of these children. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to empowering communities through education and advocacy. I am passionate about leveraging my skills and experiences to drive positive change and create a more equitable society.
