Responsible for initiating, designing, coding, testing, and implementing SSA National Computer Center Application Projects in support of SSA’s mission. Performed a wide range of tasks related to web application development and maintenance. Work closely with the client at the development and design stage. Responsible for initiating, designing, coding, testing and implementing Web application projects in support of the research and instructional missions and the outreach and business needs of the University. Managed Web applications projects throughout the entire system development lifecycle. Primary responsibilities include: Daily interaction with University clients; liaison with other information technology units throughout the Hopkins enterprise.Significant project management, including involvement in all phases of the project scope definitions, applications design, applications implementation, applications testing, and post evaluation.Development of dynamic, data-enabled Web Applications.Served as a Network system administrator/engineer.Systems Administrator for VMWare ESX Virtual Server (110 VS's)Served as the primary investigator of emerging Web-based technologies.Provided guidance, training, and/or leadership to lower-level employees (including student employees). Other duties included: Serving on relevant University committees; publication of articles in the trade/technical literature; assistance in grant writing and research activities and participation in projects supporting the teaching and research missions of the University.
