I've been working in the Telecommunications and ICT industry for 20 years. I started out as an Outsourcing Solutions Consultant, primarily in a presales capacity where I learned and helped developed IT and Network outsourcing methodologies, solutions, and pricing models. From there, I moved into a more senior role in a similar capacity. I then shifted my focus from the IT and infrastructure side of the industry into the Network side and operated in a Portfolio Management capacity for almost 10 years. My experience in designing service management models and managed service constructs was instrumental in developing what was a nascent but growing portfolio of Managed Network Services. That role of Service Line Manager (my organization's name for Product/Portfolio Manager) involved a much deeper commercial and financial management of a portfolio of products and services, whilst still remaining heavily involved in product lifecycle management activities, as well as working closely with Sales and our customers to meet their managed network services requirements. I then moved into the role of Sales & Marketing Manager for the Network Solutions Practice in Spark (formerly Gen-i), leading a team of Service Line and Product Portfolio Managers as well as Sales Specialists.I am currently working as a Senior Technology Advisor for Decypher Technologies Inc. in Colorado, working closely with clients to understand their technology needs so that we can deploy the right solution and managed services.While designing and selling Cisco and Meraki network solutions, my primary focus is now on designing and selling Cellular and Public Safety (Emergency Responder Radio Systems or ERRS) distributed antenna systems (DAS) for hospitals, hotels, casinos, MDUs/Apartment Buildings, manufacturing and distribution plants and high end luxury residential customers. I have also worked in a consulting capacity as a Telecommunications Product Consultant, assisting with product and portfolio management activities. I love working with and leading teams to develop new products and services, selling and implementing them in client environments, working through BAU operational issues, enhancing existing product features and managing the financials of a complex portfolio that cuts far and wide across large telecommunications and ICT businesses.
