Construction Project Manager
I was responsible for the construction of a new Trauma Center servicing the city of Kunduz, in Afghanistan, during a period of on-going conflict. The context necessitated a tight 7-month construction timeframe, during which I led a team of 65-115 on-site technical personnel to receive 50 containers of pre-fab aluminium-framed material to be installed on concrete strip foundations. Project included full plumbing, electrical and centralized HVAC fit-out. Medial facilities included:- 3,500 sq m Trauma Center, including operating theatres, 48 bed IPD, OPD unit, ER, Lab and Sterilization unit.
