I spearheaded the reconstruction of one of the countries' largest national Hospital, from start to finish. Delivered project on-time and on-budget in a highly demanding context. Built medical facilities include: - 4900 sq m Maternity Unit - 2 years - 1090 sq m Internal Medicine Unit - 2 years - 300 sq m Out-Patient Department and Sterilization unit - 1 year - Full rehab/replacement of the hospital infrastructure (Water & Sanitation, Electricity, Waste Disposal etc...) - 2 years

Mosul, Nineveh Governorate, Iraq

I lead the team which built 5 separate medical facilities, spread around the city of Mosul, in Iraq. We were at the forefront of post-conflict redevelopment in a war-torn city, focusing specifically on healthcare infrastructure. Projects were delivered on-time and on-budget.Facilities we constructed included:- 1,610 sq. m. Infectious Disease Unit - 8 months- 800 sq. m. Operating Theater and ICU - 9 months- 100 sq. m. Sterilization Unit - 4 months- 1,980 sq.m. Isolation Ward - 9 months- 455 sq. m. Maternity Ward - 6 months

Kunduz, Afghanistan

I was responsible for the construction of a new Trauma Center servicing the city of Kunduz, in Afghanistan, during a period of on-going conflict. The context necessitated a tight 7-month construction timeframe, during which I led a team of 65-115 on-site technical personnel to receive 50 containers of pre-fab aluminium-framed material to be installed on concrete strip foundations. Project included full plumbing, electrical and centralized HVAC fit-out. Medial facilities included:- 3,500 sq m Trauma Center, including operating theatres, 48 bed IPD, OPD unit, ER, Lab and Sterilization unit.

I was a Project Architect, responsible for the design and construction of a range of projects. I was responsible for the design work, tender submissions, permitting and construction site management. I worked primarily with the Healthcare portfolio, with experience also in civic, residential and commercial projects. I specialized in sustainable construction strategies, whilst pushing the envelope in large-scale timber framed construction projects.
