I am the producer for all Kalmbach Media's Trains.com print magazine and digital content brands. I work with the editors of those titles to produce quality products in a variety of print and digital media. In addition, I direct the content creation activities of Kalmbach's newest digital membership strategy, Trains.com, which will launch in 2020. In addition, I am the creator of Kalmbach's first all-video magazine, Model Railroader Video Plus. This subscription video website launched in spring of 2013. Since then, I've introduced a full line of DVD products, and in 2018, launched MR Video Plus' first magazine - Model Railroading, The Ultimate Guide. This is a digital to print publication that directly links back to the videos produced for MRVideoPlus.com. In addition to video work, I provide story content and photographs for the print magazine as well, and serve as on-camera talent for other product lines as needed.I am also the creative producer for the Fred and Susie Show, a series of Christian children's television and DVD series that teaches how to use God's Biblical principles in everyday living. The show features puppets, songs, stories, and craft projects, all of which are aimed at promoting creative learning. We have three DVDs on the market and a music CD, and are currently broadcast on TBN Smile of a Child across the world, as well as with individual networks in the UK and Austraila. In addition I am the Marketing director for my wife's company, Dropped Pencil LLC. Part of my responsibilities in that role include design and development of her company's Web site.Before coming to Kalmbach Publishing Co., I was a high school English teacher at Sycamore High School, in Sycamore, Ill. During that time I also taught speech communication and drama classes, and I directed the plays and musicals.
