I am currently majoring in computer science and minoring in statistics at UC Irvine. My time here has allowed me to build a strong foundation in many different areas such as networks, AI/ML, database design, IOT, Operating Systems, and more. I will be joining Amazon as a Software engineer in fall after I graduate. Here are some of my favorite projects:▪ Fit Factory: Built an Arduino based device that measures movement and heartrate and sends this data through the Azure IoT Hub to a NodeJS web application that guides the user through a personalized HIIT workout▪ Rosy: Designed a companion app that tracks out-patient recovery using a Fitbit and a spirometer, allowing doctors to monitor patients remotely and prevent postsurgical complications. This project won the $5000 2nd place prize out of more than 50 participating teams at the ACPM/MIT Surgical Hacks event.▪ Othello AI: Used C++ to create an AI that makes a move based on a heuristic search algorithm and optimized the performance of the AI using a genetic algorithm which models natural selection▪ Sentiment Analysis of Reviews: Used Python and the NLTK to analyze the sentiment of a movie review dataset using a Naïve Bayes Classifier, and built a model that could predict with 90% accuracy on test data▪ GPS: Used Python and MapQuest API to create a program that could give directions between two locations
