- Researching and developing an engaging array of community events and activities that coordinates with both resident interests and "8 Dimensions of Engagement" - Preparing and publishing a creative and active monthly and daily calendar of programs for residents, including more than 200 instructor led activities per month - Encouraging and motivating residents to lead healthy, active lifestyles - Managing all aspects of the Atria Resident Discovery tool (ARD) in a timely and proficient manner, including creating monthly community event calendar and completing Learn. Do. Try. surveys with all residents - Supporting community growth by conducting tours with prospective residents and families, developing and cultivating relationships within the surrounding community, and actively participating in marketing and networking events - Managing company branding and developing of public relations on both a national and local level - Recruiting, evaluating, and scheduling of program instructors, contracted entertainers, and volunteers - Managing and overseeing monthly departmental budget - Monitoring and assessing performance of all Engage Life and Transportation employees, including hiring, scheduling, mentoring, performance reviewing, and taking corrective action - Overseeing all aspects of Engage Life Department, serving as "Manager of the Day" on a regular basis, and assisting all other departments as needed - Writing and contributing to Wit and Wisdom, Atria Senior Living's National Blog
