As membership coordinator, I ran membership programming. I assisted in coordinating the schedules of three hundred children in our swimming and sailing programs and ensured members had paid their dues. In order to do this, I contributed to the compilation of a master Excel spreadsheet and remained in contact with hundreds of families in order to plan for the summer's programs. In addition to this preseason role, I continued to coordinate and teach within the sailing program.

As Sailing Administrator, I completed the scheduling of classes and events for the Haven Beach Club sailing team. This included a successful, covid-friendly, socially distanced kayaking trip with over seventy-five participants as well as a trip to a nearby water park that involved both the swim and sailing teams. I also ran covid tracing throughout the sailing program in order to ensure that we did not have an outbreak throughout the summer.

Haven Beach Club, located on the Jersey Shore, has a sailing program with just over fifty students age 8-16. As an instructor I taught the intermediate optimist class, sunfish cruising class, and the laser/420 racing class. As an administrator, I track attendance to ensure covid safety, plan events, and communicate between parents and staff.

WORD Magazine is primarily a student run magazine that distributes copies throughout the Isla Vista neighborhood. I wrote an article about sexual assault and it’s presence throughout the campus and neighboring areas.

Parker's Garage and Oyster Saloon is a very popular seafood restaurant on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. I worked there as both a busser and food runner for two summers.

Norwalk, Ct

The Norwalk Veterinary Hospital and Boarding House accepted me as an intern for the end of my senior year. I was able to observe surgeries, help with day-to-day animal care, and general maintenance of the building.

The Learning Fund is a locally based tutoring service where 90% of the profits from tutoring were donated to local charities. Tutors were expected to contribute a few hours per week to tutoring.

I worked as a hostess at Boathouse LBI for one summer before the restaurant was turned into Parker's Garage and Oyster Saloon. I felt very lucky to continue working at the new restaurant when there was a change in name and ownership.
